A Gentle Nature Walk for Grieving Youth
Grief can feel especially heavy for young hearts.
Forest of Remembrance is a guided nature experience created to provide children and their families a quiet, supportive space to honor memories, express feelings, and reconnect with the healing presence of the natural world.

Led by a certified forest bathing guide, this experience offers gentle reflection practices designed to help participants slow down, breathe, and find moments of peace among the trees.



What you may expect...

During this 90–120 minute walk we may explore:
​
• Quiet sensory awareness in nature
• Gentle walking and breathing practices
• Journaling or drawing reflections
• A remembrance ritual using natural elements
• A closing circle of gratitude and connection
​
Participation is always optional and guided with care.

This session is ideal for Youth ages 10–16 who are experiencing grief or loss.​
​
Parents or guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend alongside their child.​
​
Rooted Tranquility sessions are nature connection experiences designed to support wellbeing.
​
They are not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment.
What to Bring
​
• Comfortable walking shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water
• A small journal (optional)
